We were dismayed to see that the old dome was now a drugstore. We looked briefly but couldn't see your new place. Now I see it and I'll see you on Wednesday.

Loved all the food we had at your restaurant, but especially the creamy tomato basil soup. Would you share your recipe with me?

Awesome meal! The fried shrimp was the best I've had... and the rice curry salad on the salad bar is amazing! Can you tell me what is in that salad, so I can try to replicate it back here in Iowa!? Great place!

I am making your Tortilla soup on this cold Texas Day. It is the best around. Do you still serve it?

I love the Tempura Shrimp with Lemon Cream Sauce! The service and food has always been good and we drive all the way from Corpus Christi to eat at Jay's. One of my favorite places to eat!

First and last time visit. All my cash lifted right out of my purse when I turned around to get my salad at the salad bar which was adjacent to our table where the four of us were sitting.

I looked up reviews on local restaurants & we decided to go to Seafood & Spaghetti Work. I think the food might have been good but it was so hot inside it made eating miserable! We asked our waitress to see if the a/c could be turned on when we ordered but nothing was ever done. We come to Port Aransas every summer as a family trip. We will not return to eat there in the future. June 7, 2016

After two bad dining experiences while on the island my Mother's day weekend was made on Mother's Day. My family of three enjoyed everything. The food was prepared nicely, the salad bar and soup were amazing. We even got to meet the owner. We are planning on coming for Father's Day and this is the only place we will eat (other than our condo). We own a restaurant so we are fairly critical of both service and quality which we found both wonderful here. The only thing wrong was the habanero margarita was missing the habanero pepper. My bloody Mary was excellent.

My husband and I visited Jay's Sunday, Mother's Day around 7:30. I say visited because I did not get to eat. I ordered the Italian or pasta sampler which was unbeatable. The Alfredo sauce was full of black pepper and I've tasted better out of a jar. The spaghetti noodles wear over cooked and mushy. There was nothing to the lasagna, I never saw a noodle, it was at best 1/2 inch high. I had a bite of a meatball but there was a long hair inside of it I had to pull out of my mouth. The salad bar was a mess, the lettuce was obviously from a bag and there was no variety, it was skimpy and disappointing. When I told our rude "waiter" who I believe must have been a manager since he was dressed in street clothes, that I did not like my meal, he grabbed all my full plates and left without a word. No apology and no opportunity to order something else. He comped our bill set it on our table and I never saw him again. So we paid our bill and I went home hungry. Will never eat at this place again. We had enjoyed two meals in the past when they were in their old building. I've actually reccomended Jay's in the past, NEVER AGAIN. Terrible food terrible service big disappointment!
